I’ve found the other books in this series amusing, but this installment is by far my favorite. It genuinely made me laugh out loud. Chip is an utterly lovable dog, dispensing his own brand of wisdom. At its heart, this story celebrates the importance of having someone who truly understands you, and for Chip, that someone is Mr. Cuddles making it absolutely unthinkable to lose him. When Mr. Cuddles inevitably goes missing, the expressive illustrations perfectly capture Chip’s emotional (and hilarious) journey to find his beloved friend.

Unfortunately, the ghost is not the rule-following type, leading to a comical story about friendship, boundaries, and conflict resolution.
