Duck On A Disco Ball by Jeff Mack, 2018
(Ages 4 – 8)
In this hilarious new book by Jeff Mack, kids can finally answer the question to what parents do after children go to bed. They jump on the couch and have rowdy parties of course! At least they do in this zany sequel to DUCK IN THE FRIDGE.
A young boy cannot believe his eyes when he sneaks downstairs to witness some pretty wild behavior
from his parents after the lights go out. Visual clues in the illustrations and text will cause observant children to question if the events are real or all in the boys’ imagination, which could prompt an interesting discussion. Filled with puns and comical situations, both adults and children will laugh at this funny new book.
Immediately after reading this book, my daughter declared, “That was awesome! Let’s read that again! That book is so cool.” You can’t get a much better review than that from a three-year-old!
